Javid Noori
Part-time journalist Jabid Noori was killed after he was abducted by Taliban in Afghanistan's western province of Farah. He was taken out of car and searched and killed by Taliban in an area called Bagh-e-pol 15Km distant from Farah city.

M Asif Hakimi
Photojournalist M Asif Hakimi was killed in a blast that killed 22 in total after a motorcycle bomb was detonated at the campaign rally of a local politician. “Election-related attacks have surged since the registration of candidates and votes began in July and at least 8 candidates and many other civilians have been murdered in the attacks.”

Samim Faramarz, Ramiz Ahmadi
Samim Faramarz, a 28-year-old reporter for TOLO News, alongside TOLO News Cameraman, Ramiz Ahmadi, 23, were reporting at the scene of an earlier suicide attack when they were killed in a second blast from a car bomb that occurred only an hour after the intial attack. The attack is believed to have targeted first responders to the initial bombing which targeted a wrestling event. 25 people in total were killed in the twin attacks and a further 80 were injured. Islamic State took responsibility for the attacks according Reuters.
