Digital Campaign Skills Workshop: Hyderabad, India
12 Aug, 2015The India workshop was delivered on August 10-11, 2015 at The Plaza, locally hosted by the National Union of Journalists (India). There were 22 participants including 7 female participants and representing the NUJI and the Indian Union of Journalists (IJU). The participants identified following issues as the most important issues for the Indian journalists: job security, pension for journalists, safety of journalists and implementation of Wage Board.
The two-day workshops focused on use of internet-based technologies and social media platforms in the campaigning that the journalists unions will run in the future for democracy, freedom of expression and media rights.
