Media Rights Monitoring and Advocacy workshop: New Delhi

Media Rights Monitoring and Advocacy workshop was held in New Delhi on November 6 and 7. The workshop was part of the UNDEF South Asia project and supported by the Delhi Union of Journalists with representatives from the All Indian Newspaper Employees Federation, the National Union of Journalists, India and the Journalists Association of Bhutan.
Participants came from across India, including Kashmir, Assam, Arunanchal Pradesh, Orissa and Chhatisgarh coming together to discuss journalism and media rights situations in India’s troubled states.
