Pakistan: Sindh Government to establish endowment fund for journalists

Member Parliament of ruling party in Sindh government Sharjeel Inam Memon  has announced to establish endowment fund for the journalists of Hyderabad & interior Sindh. He was addressing journalists of Hyderabad and interior Sindh in a ceremony presided by PFUJ President GM Jamali in Hyderabad Press Club. The ceremony was arranged by the PFUJ affiliates KUJ and HUJ to distribute health cards amongst the journalists of Hyderabad & interior Sindh. The Karachi Union of Journalists (KUJ) had arranged health insurance cards for free health treatment of the members.
Addressing as Chief Guest at the distribution ceremony of Health Cards among journalists, Sharjeel Inam Memon said that Sindh ruling party PPP believed in freedom of expression and independent journalism and it had always served the people by accepting criticism for reforms and betterment of the people.
 On the occasion, President PFUJ GM Jamali said that PFUJ was making all out efforts to provide facilities to the working journalists. He thanked Sindh Government and KUJ for making this event possible and hoped that the journalists would be able for better treatment to the health issues. He promised that PFUJ would also make efforts to provide this facility to the journalists of the rest of the provinces of Pakistan.
