PFUJ: Justice for slain journalist Arshad Sharif

The Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists has expressed its concerns over the non-arrest of the killers of the famous anchor Arshad Sharif despite the fact that it has been a year since his martyrdom and has demanded the government to carry out the investigation in the Arshad Sharif murder case to its logical conclusion and arrest the killers.
In the meeting organized by PFUJ leadership, the participants recited Fatiha for the late Arshad Sharif. In the meeting, President PFUJ GM Jamali and Secretary General Rana Muhammad Azim expressed their regret that despite the government declaring the martyrdom of Arshad Sharif as a murder, the investigation could not enter the final stages yet. they continued that after the shooting of Arshad Sharif in Kenya, investigative agencies visited different countries but the case could not be concluded and the family of late Arshad is still waiting for justice.
The participants in the meeting emphasized that the killers of Arshad Sharif should not only be identified but should be arrested and brought to justice.
