Seminar on Emergency and Press on 24 June by NUJ School & DJA New Delhi.

एनयूजे स्कूल एवं डीजेए द्वारा 24 जून को आपातकाल और प्रेस पर संगोष्ठी का आयोजन
नई दिल्ली। एनयूजेआई स्कूल ऑफ जर्नलिज्म एंड कम्युनिकेशन तथा दिल्ली पत्रकार संघ द्वारा 24 जून 2023 को नई दिल्ली के हरियाणा भवन में आपातकाल और प्रेस विषय पर परिचर्चा का आयोजन किया जाएगा। परिचर्चा में आईटीवी के संपादकीय निदेशक श्री आलोक मेहता, हिन्दुस्थान समाचार के प्रधान संपादक श्री रामबहादुर राय, पांचजन्य के संपादक श्री हितेश शंकर प्रमुख वक्ता होंगे। संगोष्ठी की अध्यक्षता नेशनल यूनियन ऑफ जर्नलिस्ट्स (इंडिया) के अध्यक्ष श्री रास बिहारी करेंगे।
एनयूजे स्कूल ऑफ जर्नलिज्म एंड कम्युनिकेशन के अध्यक्ष श्री अनिल पांडेय और सचिव श्री के पी मलिक ने बताया कि संगोष्ठी को दिल्ली जर्नलिस्ट्स एसोसिएशन के संयोजक श्री राकेश थपलियाल, एनयूजेआई के सचिव श्री अमलेश राजू, पूर्व उपाध्यक्ष सुश्री सीमा किरण, संसद टीवी के वरिष्ठ एंकर श्री मनोज वर्मा, यूनीवार्ता ब्यूरो प्रमुख मनोहर सिंह,विशेष संवाददाता सचिव बुधौलिया, एनयूजे के मीडिया प्रभारी और पब्लिक एशिया के प्रधान संपादक श्री मुकेश वत्स और वरिष्ठ पत्रकार संबोधित करेंगे।
दिल्ली जर्नलिस्ट्स एसोसिएशन के संयोजक राकेश थपलियाल ने बताया कि आपातकाल के दौरान एनयूजेआई और डीजेए के सदस्यों को सरकार के कोपभाजप का शिकार बनना पड़ा था। एनयूजेआई ने आपातकाल में प्रेस पर सेंसरशिप का जोरदार विरोध किया था। इस अवसर पर एनयूजेआई और डीजेए कार्यक्रमों का आयोजन करता रहा है। संगोष्ठी का आयोजन हरियाणा भवन में दोपहर 2 बजे से होगा।

A discussion on the topic of Emergency and Press will be organized by NUJI School of Journalism and Communication and Delhi Journalists Association on 24 June 2023 at Haryana Bhawan, New Delhi.
Editorial Director of ITV Mr. Alok Mehta, Editor-in-Chief of Hindusthan Samachar Mr. Ram Bahadur Rai, Editor of Panchjanya Mr. Hitesh Shankar will be the key speakers in the discussion. The seminar will be presided over by Shri Rash Bihari, President of National Union of Journalists (India). Chairman of NUJ School of Journalism and Communication Mr. Anil Pandey and Secretary Mr. KP Malik told that the seminar was organized by Mr. Rakesh Thapliyal, Convener of Delhi Journalists Association, Mr. Amlesh Raju, Secretary of NUJI, Former Vice President Ms. Seema Kiran, Senior Anchor of Sansad TV Mr. Manoj Verma, Univarta Bureau Chief Manohar Singh, Special Correspondent Secretary Budhoulia, NUJ’s media in-charge and Public Asia’s Editor-in-Chief Mr. Mukesh Vats and senior journalists will address.
Rakesh Thapliyal, convenor of Delhi Journalists Association, said that during the Emergency, the members of NUJI and DJA had to become victims of the wrath of the BJP government. NUJI had strongly opposed censorship of the press during the Emergency. NUJI and DJA have been organizing programs on this occasion. The seminar will be organized at Haryana Bhawan from 2 pm onwards.
