Seminar on Emergency and Press on 24 June by NUJ School & DJA New Delhi.

NUJI School of Journalism and Communication and Delhi Journalists Association will be organized on 24th June 2023 at Haryana Bhawan, New Delhi. In the discussion Mr. Alok Mehta, Editorial Director of ITV, Mr. Rambahadur Rai, Editor of Hindustan News, Mr. Hitesh Shankar, Editor of Panchjanya will be the keynote speaker. The seminar will be chaired by Mr. Ras Bihari, President of National Union of Journalists (India).
NUJ School of Journalism and Communication President Mr. Anil Pandey and Secretary Mr. K.P Malik said the seminar was held by Delhi Journalists Association Coordinator Mr. Rakesh Thapaliyal, NUJI Secretary Mr. Amlesh Raju, former Vice President Ms. Seema Kiran, Senior Anchor of Parliament TV Mr. Manoj Verma, Uniwarta Bureau Chief Manohar Singh, Special Journalist Secretary Budhulia, Media Incharge of NUJ and Editor of Public Asia Mr. Mukesh Watsa and Senior Journalist.
Delhi Journalists Association’s Coordinator Rakesh Thapaliyal said that NUJI and DJA members had to become victims of government’s anger BJP during emergency. NUJI had strongly opposed censorship on the press in emergency. NUJI and DJA has been organizing events on this occasion. The seminar will be held in Haryana Bhawan from 2 pm.
